A Syrah from Mendoza...I had my doubts, but we were tasting some great wines at this winery, Malbec and Cab Franc. It is amazing what some of the wineries in Mendoza are doing with Cab Franc. Back to the Syrah, we didn’t taste it but they urged me to get it as they thought I be surprised. And I was! Given the heat and the stress in Mendoza I thought it be drinking more like a Shiraz. It didn’t. It was vibrant, full bodied, spicy and potent tannins that evolved in your mouth giving it great complexity. Dark unripe blackberry infused with pipe tobacco. — 2 months ago
Ripe dark fruit core punctuated by herbal spices, dark chocolate and iron minerals. Feel a bit angular on the palate, but it was delicious and well balanced. Firm tannins.

A 6 region blend, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and dried floral notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with licorice and pepper oak. Fine grainy tannins, lively acidity, medium(+) finish ending with fruit, subtle oak and savory spice. Nice! — 2 months ago
A jammy plum greets the nose with a touch of licorice as a supplement. The taste is muted at first and then the flavors come on in waves. The finish is a bit harsh and in a few years this will be even better. You feel the alcohol but it isn’t overpowering. This is one of the best wines I’ve consumed in 2021. A must buy! — 11 days ago
