St Giorgio Chianti Riserva Sangiovese 2011

Had the 2019 in April of 2024. Really enjoyed this. Dry but red cherry softens the dryness. Earthy with light tannins. Great buy for the price. Plan to get this one again. Had with chicken and mushroom risotto and paired remarkably well. — 16 days ago

San Giorgio Spumante Erbaluce di Caluso

Sparkling Erbaluce in Alba from benchmark producer. Learned that outside of Canavese, the name Erbaluce cannot be used. It seems that sometimes the Italians - and Alto Piedmontese (a name we in the US bestowed on a them) let their hyper local regional alliances and squabbles - undermine their global marketability. St Giorgio Super Tuscan Blend 2018

For the price, this is a pretty good everyday drink. Cherry and stewed fruits aromas. Smooth with red fruits and a nice long finish. — 24 days ago

Monte Dall'Ora

San Giorgio Alto Valpolicella Classico Superiore Corvina Blend 2015

The nicest Classico Superiore we’ve had. And with a slight chill along burgers, yum. Has a great nose of muddy black cherries, trees, leafy decay, as it warms, it’s pronounced deep red.
On the palate, bright acidity up front with a tactile slight roughness, pomegranates and cherries, delicious balance.
These bottles don’t disappoint.
