Blend of 80% Arneis, 10% Chardonnay, 10% Sauvignon, lemon yellow color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral notes. On the palate flavors of pear, green apple and lemon citrus with lively acidity, honey and blossom notes. Medium savory finish ending with nutty citrus and floral mineral character. — 5 months ago

2020 vintage.
Brilliant, shiny ruby red.
Bright wild raspberries and cherries with dried flowers, menthol and Kirsch.
Hints of truffles and pepper. Super crisp tannins and acidity for days from this medium bodied wine.
Definitely needs 5-6 years to sleep in the cellar. — 3 months ago

More in alignment with WS review: “Cherry, raspberry, violet and mineral aromas and flavors mark this perfumed red. Racy and elegant, with defining acidity. Persistent finish. Drink now through 2028. 3,300 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.” — Bruce Sanderson… Versus WE: “Like a garden at twilight, this Barbera lifts with violets and lavender before diving into a pool of plums and boysenberries, kissed by fresh herbs. The palate mirrors this purple-fruited dance with juicy precision. Give it a slight chill and watch it become the life of the party.” — Jeff Porter. — 5 months ago

Last bottle 😭 It’s been 2 years since I drank this, and it was exactly this time of year. Terrific red for the end of winter. Substantial body and warmth, but also carries a fruity freshness and lightness. Strawberry, red licorice, baking spices and fresh herbs. Give it plenty of air. Ready for warmer weather. — 4 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of a few hours. The 2021 pours a garnet color with a transparent core; medium plus viscosity with no staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tart and ripe red and black fruit: Morello cherry, raspberries, pomegranate, roses, fresh asphalt, talcum powder, dry green herbs, gravelly earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and a touch savory. In general, the 2021’s are strutting at this early stage and it’s hard to say if they will shut down like the 2010 and 2013 vintage or keep delivering the goods like the 2016 vintage. Regardless, the future is long and bright. Drink now with patience and through 2061. — 9 months ago

Just a richness, depth, & concentration that separates this Lange Rosso from the pack. And a Crazy Eddie price (under 18$)… — 21 days ago
