This was a big hit at a dinner party. Complex, well balanced, and still a lot of fruit for an 8 year old wine. — 4 months ago
High toned but restrained floral and lemon/grapefruit aromas and flavors. Medium bodied, balanced. Dry, juicy; light, skin-contact, mouth coating finish. Overall, rather Classy and Elegant — 4 months ago

Elegant and savory2020, this Old World styled Merlot has ample fruit, juicy acidity and soft, refined tannins at the finish. A delicious user friendly Merlot. — 18 days ago
Light straw with typical SB aromas adding a touch of floral mineral notes. On the palate flavors of melon and grapefruit with citrus and honeysuckle notes, generous acidity, great mouthfeel with long finish ending with a salty spice character. Exceptional wine! — 4 months ago
Purchased at the winery years ago. The cork broke off. Strained the wine out. Taste delicious. Some oats but not overwhelming. Balanced acidity as well. Great with cheese! — 10 months ago
Really interesting how this Barbera from the foothills holds up nicely after 8 years. I don’t know if the 16 vintage was so good, or the wine just aged exceptionally well, but this is much better than previous vintages. Very mellow tannins, smooth velvety. A pleasant surprise. — 3 months ago

Love this stuff, clocking in at a modest 13.8% ABV. Restrained and classy old school CA cab. — 9 days ago
