Bodegas Salentein

Estate Bottled Numina Spirit Vineyard Cabernet Franc 2019

2019 vintage shared in Nov 2025. Nice fruit balance with astringent tannins and a very long ever-so-slightly spicy linger. Blueberry and green pepper. Very drinkable and held up well to a rib eye with rich gravy; did OK against a spicy rendition of sole, but only because of the spice (and necessity). — 14 days ago

Iron Horse Vineyards

Spirit of '76 Green Valley of Russian River Valley Sparkling Pinot Noir 2011

Still got ripping acidity, great green apple and some mandarin orange, ends with a rockin marcona almond finish. My kinda finish. I finished is what I’m saying. — 2 years ago

Heitz Cellar

Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2009

Free orchid samples for my stores, Heitz not free.
But so worth it. These need 15-20 years to live up to the name.

I’ve had friends put them in there for the steam from a shower and it worked out.
I prefer indirect lighting like a patio room. Typically they would last 5-6 months before they bloomed out.
Just don’t buy one thats fully bloomed, sometimes they are in a store for a couple months. A fresh one would typically have 4-6 buds that haven’t opened.

And the Heitz was great but from 2 days ago, Delectable takes a couple days now to show the wine you post.

Oh if it’s a garden like this you can use ice cubes placed on top of the roots then drain the ceramic after they melt.

Campovida

Spirit Canyon Vineyard Arneis 2014

Always one of my favorites from Campovida. We saved this for our 5th anniversary, but we’re just now getting around to it on #8. Incredibly smooth. Cherries. — 6 months ago
