Drinking in its absolute prime right now. Aromas and flavors all point straight to Chablis, with copious, vividly define notes of flint, smoke, sea salt, chamomile and caramelized citrus. But the wine's rich, tactile palate presence betray its Californian origins. Lovely balance here. — 6 years ago

Not totally sure how I feel about this wine. On the one hand it's lovely and pure and clean, with decisive, cleansing minerality that gives focus and drive to its bright, fresh flavors of tangerine, sesame, and sea salt. On the other it's just a little lacking--in structure, in acidity, and in intensity as well. I like it a lot, don't get me wrong. We tasted this wine from tank though and were totally blown away by its symmetry and completeness. Perhaps the filters simply claimed their share. — 6 years ago

Little bit of bike tire reduction outta the gate, but it cleans up in a hurry. This is pure Chambolle-Musigny. The best NZ pinot I've had. Focused, perfumed, and just the right kinda musky. Red currant, blood orange, potting soil, and kelp. Wonderfully melted tannin, finesse for days. Has a long life ahead of it. — 6 years ago
