Chambolle Musigny Pinot Noir 2019

Strawberry rhubarb., distant herb garden, bramble, & fine toothed tannins. Beautiful tension & texture. Drinking nicely now- the dinner guest who brought it said previous bottles of same vintage were closed. Paired with sautéed duck breast in 5 Chinese Spices, plus roast beets with garlic dill yogurt sauce. Deliciousness in multiple dimensions. — 3 months ago

Puligny-Montrachet Chardonnay 2018

1st time with this producer that was highly recommended & a gift from a friend. High acid with lemon citrus & stone fruits, rich on the palate, racy, saline & mineral notes. — 3 years ago

Les Champs Perdrix Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir 2019

My favorite of the Cossard wines. From a 60 year old vine parcel just 3 meters above La Tâche and between Aux Reignots and Malconsorts. Prime real estate. — 5 months ago

La Chassornade Aligoté

This smelled funky at first and mellowed out. It tastes like a yummy stone fruit kombucha — 9 months ago

Barossa Valley Grenache 2020

Biodynamic Aussie Grenache from the Hongell Vineyard’s 90 year old vines. Partial whole cluster and neutral oak. Cherry cordials. Just shy of reading jammy. Not sure what’s crossed out on the label, maybe Australian drink units?
Thoughts anyone?
