Easy breezy super drinkable gamay with a very pretty floral nose. Never met a gamay I didn’t like. — 7 years ago
Bright garnet color with a ruby core. Aromas of wet soil, mushroom and a bit of red fruit. The palate is more dark fruit (blackberry and black currant) focused with hints of black licorice and baking spices. Tannins and acidity are present but in good balance. Not really a “traditional style” Red Burgundy, but interesting and delicious nonetheless. Solid value increases my rating. — 3 months ago

Only of a handful of Condrieu I’ve tasted in my lifetime. The viscous, thick mouthfeel is either a turn off or on-as is it’s endive, fennel, and white fruit palate as well. I loved both. Given its youth, it’s all packed in there too tightly, so bottle age & /or decant will only help. But well made & given the steep uptick in Chenin Blanc prices I could see going back again. — 10 months ago

Electricity in a glass - great Montagny from a terrific winemaker. Lemon peel, caramelised lemon, golden apples, pear juice, nutmeg, cardamom, the sense of drinking liquid gold. Packed with creaminess. Sky high acidity, great balance and a never ending finish. — 2 months ago
