Finca Fella

Caravaglio

Malvasia delle Lipari Passito 2020

Passito-style (100% Malvasia fella Lipari grapes) dessert wine. Beautiful amber color. Aromas and flavors of orange and apricot jam with a additional hints of honey, grapefruit, nuts, raisins and lemon zest. A touch of salinity makes this dessert wine seem less sweet. Medium viscosity, waxy texture and bristling acidity. Quite complex and well balanced. Thank you for sharing this one, Ron B! — a year ago

The Vineyards & Winery at Lost Creek

Genesis Red Blend

This fella really held up over 7+ years from harvest. While some initial freshness as evolved, the harmony/density is very respectable. 2015 was a hit/miss vintage depending on micro-climates. Can’t remember if this was all estate, nevertheless it was deep red/black fruit northern Italian style ride. — a year ago

Opened this yesterday and had a glass but forgot to post. A nice dry Gamay. Has a bit of nutty undertones. Didn’t chill this fella but probably should have. Slight herbal finish. — 3 years ago

Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2019

A forest fragrance.

Starting to fall in love with the burgundy style. Cedar, slight spice, great fruit, a bit on the bolder side of the spectrum for the varietal.

Producer was recommended by the fella at USQ.
