Made with Ferro (iron). Tastes like Pennies and blood. — 4 years ago
Thats reeeeal nice. Light, refreshing, maritime red with soft tannins and that hint of spice with juicy berries. Quaffed it up. Majestic £9.99 — 5 years ago
This wine — besides its widespread praise — is an amazing experience when you first encounter it. Overwhelming nose when the cork is pulled; full and immediate mouth feel, a wonderful super tuscan rush. Wow! — 7 years ago
Bright, medium body Albariño from Spain. Crisp & clean with notes of lemon zest & peach. Delicious! — 9 years ago
I'm sure this benefited greatly from being paired with steak. A crowd favorite. Good acidity and fruit. Better than the last one I opened for sure — 9 years ago
Not a super special wine but definitely buy again as it is very drinkable, smooth, acidic in a good way instead of sweet. From Lidl, a solid everyday wine. — 6 months ago

As dark and inky as they come from around here. Initial bouquet of boysenberry and Ferro-Rochet. Needs a good long spin in the decanter to show what it's got but with time I find a pure cassis core draped in chocolate and cedar notes with gorgeous balance and lift despite its youth — 9 years ago
Sauv blanc, yellow pale green. Very feminine, soft, graceful, austere but not sharp. Envelops the palate with herby peachy tart berry. Could pass for a good Bordeaux white. — 10 years ago
Mushrooms vie with roses on an earthy canvas of ethereal red cherries and dried flowers. Violet and raspberry leaf to cherry on a grainy tannic tobacco and cedar with endless complexity. Outrageous Sangiovese!
