Pretty stellar. One of the best Rhone whites I have had in a very long time. — 6 months ago
A garnet hue with a ring of ruby red catches your eye at first glance. Lots of red raspberries and black berries followed by dark chocolate, black pepper, oak and prolific earth. Great structure with lively acidity, balanced tannins leaving a zingy finish of black currants and a peppery bite. — a month ago
A Syrah that is not a typical Syrah- cherries, apples, plums with pepper alongside bright acidic tones that carry to the end. — 24 days ago
Thick, powerful and intense but a bit too stewed and alcoholic for me. You can sense the complexity and depth but just not in balance. — a month ago
Really great value in a straightforward, honest, balanced Grenache. It’s grown within the Faugeres appellation but can’t claim the AOC apparently because it’s from deep sandy soils and not schist. No matter! Rayas grows Grenache in sand so there’s great precedent! Nose shows sappy kirsch-y fruit, lots of savory, mineral notes, and a touch of vanilla and spice. Soft and light-footed in the mouth. Quite dry, savory, and saline. Very soft tannin. Alcohol is relatively low at a stated 13.5. Drinking well now, it will certainly last a year or two longer, though I don’t think it will improve. I love wines like this. So food flexible. — 6 months ago

Stunning. Delicious. One of my fav wines of the last 1.5 years. Godello aged under flor that competes with white Burgundy/ Sonoma Coast chards that cost double. Sourced from two tiny plots of 80-100 yr old vines. 80% old foudre, 20% amphora under flor, no malo, no stirring. Sunny bouquet, honeycomb, Asian pear, gun flint, crushed stone, brisk, seamless, cool and classy. $55. — 18 days ago
