Full bodied Tuscan red from Mike & Nadia (Rosciolli wine order). Phil and I both liked it. — 3 days ago
Tobacco, oak, cherry — a month ago
Light to medium ruby , wide light garnet ruby rim . Fresh herbs , pine and red cherries on the nose , very fresh and pure . On the palate slightly spicy cherry , cedar , dried herbs, liquorice . Nice rounded red fruit , but with fresh lively acidity and fine , ripe medium tannins. Good length , with a herbal , spicy cherry tinged finish . Drink now and over the next 2-3 years whilst it retains the fresh fruit character that makes this so attractive — 4 days ago
Beautiful, engaging nose. Full bloom, pink & red roses, cherry hard candy, layered, soft spice, dark cherries, strawberries, raspberries, light herbal notes, hint of bubble gum.
Pretty, ripe, juicy palate. Fruits are light; raspberries, cherries, strawberries and blackberries & black raspberry hues. Wet river stone, dry limestone powder, more pronounced dark, dry tannins, dry herbs, dark spice with some heat, light, dry tobacco notes, barrel dust, bright red & pink roses, magnificent acidity with a very pleasant elegant, polished finish that lands on spice and lasts 90 seconds.
Really good value and one to pick up. — 18 days ago
Wow, such a pleasure to drink this at this stage. Oodles of dark red and black fruits at the core with a frame of tertiary notes. Subtle spice and and savory notes too. The palate is med+ to full bodied with med+ long but fine grain tannin that are starting to resolve. Deep and pronounced on the palate with a long, and subtly structured finish. Really fun and really good! — 25 days ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 2 hours ago
