Lieu dit La Dardouille Saint-Joseph Syrah 2019

Lyle Fass
9.3

Day 2 notes. Nose of blueberry and blackberry, granite and graphite. Dark and rich but super mineral as well. Palate is energetic and fresh but also dark and rich with blackberry and blueberry galore. Young and disjointed as it was yesterday but it’s all there. Check back in 5 years — 2 years ago

Echézeaux Grand Cru Pinot Noir 2017

A Pinot Noir that i really like. According to my Pinot Noir Friends the wine was everything except Pinot Noir….Dark coloured, powerful and sweet. More like a syrah…. — 2 months ago

Le Mont Benoit 1er Cru Extra Brut Champagne Pinot Meunier Blend 2018

Lots of complex aromatics that became even more expressive as the bottle warmed up. Some oxidative notes mixed with bread and flowers. In the mouth this leans to the vinous side. Acid driven which allows it to be consumed through out the meal. Just a hint of bitterness on the finish — 2 years ago
