Sugre Pierre

The Trouble with Dreams Chardonnay Blend

Flowery nose becoming quite yeasty; very vinous with oversized bubbles and a broad palate with distinct apple fruit. Not trying to be Champagne and delicious. — 6 months ago

Old Speckled Hen Ale

Old Speckled Hen is a favourite. It's malty, slightly sweet with a nice hint of caramel. A good solid old fashioned English pint. — 3 years ago

Rich & Dark Old Ale

GV
9.4

This is a nice old ale that offers a pleasant taste set around dates, dried fruits, and caramel with a subtle sweetness and gentle hop flavour. Light carbonation.

Great with rainy, dark autumnal days.

St. Peter's Brewery

St. Peter's Honey Porter

GV
9.1

St. Peter's is a craft brewer who have a good reputation for quality beer. This one is a staple of the good folks in Suffolk with English Pale malts and ever popular Challenger and Goldings hops. This gives a pleasant traditional light English bitter with subtle caramel and toffee taste and aroma. Malt is light but distinctive as is the foamy head on this golden ale.

One for Summer ... and Spring and Autumn ... oh alright Winter too.

Recommended.

Old Speckled Hen English Fine Ale

Yum. Close your eyes and be transported to a cozy English country pub. Perfect with a Ploughman’s or a Steak and Ale pie. This bottled version is so much better than the nitro version which used to available. — 4 years ago
