Soft tannins, deep and velvety. Very smooth. Oak finishes really balanced. Very nice. — 8 months ago
So yummy. Jammy with red fruit. — 10 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed alongside the 2022 “Twilight” and over the course of a few hours. The 2021 “Golden Hour” pours a bright ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of ripe red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, freshly cut red flowers, some mushrooms, green herbs, forest floor and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+. It doesn’t have the sheer power of the 2022 “Twilight” but it’s showing a little more complexity and restraint (relatively speaking). Drink now through 2032. — 12 days ago
British, 60 Chard/40 Pinot Noir, aged in used Burgundian barrels. Plenty of floral aromatics, more fruit than brioche, & a very seductive palate of ripe yellow fruit like marigold apple & textured. Very good in a riper yet restrained enough style. Sells for about 50 quid, as my mum would say, but found on sale for 30$. — 4 months ago

Better day 2. — 9 months ago
Never in my dreams would I think of really enjoying Ontario red wine, and secondly, enjoying an Ontario Pinot Noir. This was delicious. Perfect for a late summer evening dinner. Notes of red/dark cherries, raspberries, blueberries, followed by cloves, mild leather, and mild peppery tobacco, with refreshingly well balanced tannin. A complex, beautifully expressed Pinot, that surprisingly can hold up with a steak. Also a great $$ value. — 3 years ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed alongside the 2021 “Golden Hour” and over the course of a few hours. The 2022 “Twilight” pours a deep ruby color with a transparent core; medium viscosity with light staining of the tears. On the nose, the wine is developing with powerful notes of ripe red fruits: strawberries, raspberries, Marionberries, kirsch, red flowers, some mushrooms, some mocha, vanilla and fine baking spices. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium tannin and medium acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and the texture is silky. Glossy. This smells and tastes like money. Well made and unmistakably Pinot Noir but whoa, she’s a confident one. Drink now and enjoy the abundance of ripe fruit…but I guess you could drink through 2032 if you needed. — 12 days ago
