2020 vintage. Checked multiple (4) Trader Joe’s locations to see if there was any more of the verry solid 2019 vintage left anywhere. No luck. Took the plunge on the new vintage. Still worth the ca$hi$h. Lots of prettier fruits and medium body. Not as much structure as the 2019 but that dropoff was expected. Won’t drink as much of the 2020 as I did the 2019 but for $14.99, it’s still a relative bargain. Will hit again. 4.8.24. — 15 days ago

Très surprenant. Un vin à $16 (SAQ-Cellier) qui passe super bien. Sec 2.5g de sucre, fruits rouges, mi-corsé, très rond, bien équilibré, descend très bien, très fluide. 90% Sangiovese 10% Carbernet Sauvignon, c’est comme un Chianti mais non assemblé selon les normes, mais il est très bon. — 24 days ago

Typically brilliant #chianticlassico 85% #sangiovese 15% #merlot. Red / violet floral + woodsy nose, classic earthy-iron varietal aroma, bright acidity, soft tannins and a bit of roundness courtesy of the Merlot, some spice on the finish. Brilliant pairing with Chicken Paillard topped with blue cheese which brought out the spice in the wine, interestingly enough. — 2 months ago
