Much better than my last btl about 1.5 yrs ago. Oak better integrated, but still.char and a touch of pyrazine...which I guess I would call vintage character. On the palate: good acidity, roasted strawberry and excellent density with fantastic spice. Soft tannin on the juucy and spicy finish. Excellent. — 4 years ago
Excellent well aged Burg from a great vintage. Red fruit earth cherries firm palate long finish though with some complex wood notes. Kicks up a notch from Les Essards. — 5 years ago

Terrific nose of mature red fruits and autumnal forest floor and earth. Then a bit of shock of acids on palate but then resolved to nice balanced profile and lively texture. Good finish. — 4 years ago
