Very delicious! — 4 months ago
Delicious, but missed the mark with typicity again - like the 14’ we had not too long ago, this 17’ was missing that fine minerality associated with this cuvée. Affected by the long journey from France perhaps? Drank fine with flavours focused around creamy dark berries and spicy, earthy nuances. Finely textured, medium-bodied and balanced, albeit a little straightforward at the moment. — 2 months ago
With time in glass it really opened up beautifully. Aromas of brooding cherry, plums, hint of herbs and earth on the nose. Tannin integrated super well with velvet softness. Great stuff but not as much concentration and complexity as I expected. Quality thru and thru though — 5 months ago
Opaque ruby with intense nose of wild strawberries, clove, floral notes, earthy undertones and hint of condensed milk. Powerfully concentrated despite being light in its feet thanks to ethereal acidity and a velvety tannin. Lift and length through the finish. More like a vosne rather than a NSG. Fantastic wine and much better than the Aux murgers from a few weeks ago. — 3 months ago
Floral notes, cloves, cola, bramble fruit, blackberries, purple notes. Fantastic nose, the palate slightly shy at first with the cooler vintage being betrayed by slight lack of concentration. The elegance and velvet character however saves the day. — 4 months ago

This well-cellared bottle was presented alongside a DRC and it held its place. Somewhat lighter in composition, but with lovely sensations of its own, this wine was delightful. — a month ago
