Reddish in color with a wide reddish rim.
Fresh nose of red fruits with earth, light wood and tobacco.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate with raspberries, cherries, spices, light oak, chocolate notes and tobacco leaf.
Nice finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This young Grenache from Châteauneuf-du-Pape is already drinking beautifully. Engaging, elegant and fruity. Spicy and interesting.
Will continue to age nicely in the next 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 10 years.
Easy drinking and good by itself as a sipping wine, and will pair nicely with food too.
100% Grenache grapes were grown on sandy soils, and aged for 12 months in large French oak barrels.
15.5% alcohol by volume.

Rich dark purple nearly opaque. Threw a lot of sediment which I like. Great dark fruits flint leather and supple tannins. Drink now or soon so the fruit doesn’t fade. Really enjoyed this wine. — 4 months ago
Good aroma. Fruity. Concentrated. Sweet and spicy. Better to wait for more years. CHATEAUNEUF DU PAPE COLLECTION TAILLEVENT 20, @110, Enoteca - Barbacoa, 241109-241225 — 6 months ago
Excellent Cotes du Rhône with good depth. Owned by the makers of Domaine de Janasse so you can’t go wrong. Incredible value! — 5 years ago
