Doña Sol

Doña Paula

Selección de Bodega Malbec 2011

This wine is inky dark, with no light getting through the glass. Black fruit provides the sweet part of the nose, while tar, earth, tobacco, and coffee cover the savory side. Blackberry and plum flavors are joined on the palate by earthy minerals and a brisk acidity. The tannins are firm and seem to eagerly await a pairing with some beef. It’s a delicious wine, so if you’re not pairing it with food, that’s okay. — 8 days ago

Ronco del Gnemiz

Sol Sauvignon 2020

2022/6/8-10 with scallop crudo, homemade fresh tagliolini al Portonat, frico, etc. A nice mix of more “typical”, bright Sauvignon Blanc citrus and herbs with richer, stone fruit notes. Strong minerality, sneaky richness and plenty of acidity ensure a strong structure, and subtle depth keeps one coming back. — 3 years ago

Mas Cavalls Doña Margarita Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016

Impressed by the delicate nose, sour cherries, almond blossom, good volume, freshness, good moment of consumption. — 7 months ago

Doña Bernarda Colchagua Valley Red Blend 2013

This is a very nice wine. It’s quite heavy in appearance and flavour, plenty of spice and pepper but a good amount of sweet fruit on the palate. There is also a rubbery, diesel element which is more shiraz in style, but it all works and makes for an enjoyable Chilean experience. Long, rich finish. — 5 years ago
