Royal St. Robert Cuvee named in honor of Dante and Carlo Mondavi's grandfather who taught them to be committed to excellence. Medium Ruby color with layered aromas of fresh berry fruits with floral and smoky spice notes. On the palate flavors of strawberry and raspberry with cigar box, oak, tea, citrus and herb floral notes. Well balanced, savory fine tannins, long finish ending with oaky earthy notes. Very nice! — 10 months ago
Great flavor. One of my favorites. 3rd place in reds for Caro — 4 years ago
Opened this wine with my wife to celebrate our 25 year anniversary from the day we met in London. A lovely light young wine with a lot of life left! — 2 months ago
2023/9. There’s a wild, leafy element to this which is quite appealing. Flavorful, tangy Sangiovese — a year ago
Again from Chambers again outstanding. Had 2018 with Janet Bloomberg on 8/13/20 — 4 years ago
This is a simple Amarone.
Showing black fruits with light wood, spices, dark chocolates and coffee.
Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.
Dry on the palate and very fruity.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
A little unbalanced, but drinkable nonetheless. Spicy and entertaining.
A good everyday wine. Good by itself and good for parties.
16% alcohol by volume.
89 points.

Very light and crisp with a herbal sage, over pear, and lemon. Light, pleasant, and a little vegetal. Gets fruitier if you let it warm up and bit with some orange blossom notes and tropical fruit. — 7 hours ago
