Pale lemon with tropical fruit aromas and citrus scents. On the palate apricot and peach flavors with honey lemon zest. Well balanced with pleasant acidity, finishing with mineral and wet stone nuances on the medium ending. Very nice! Should improve over the next few years. — 8 days ago

This is a nice surprise. A nice Pinot Noir from Burgundy.

Dry on the palate with cherries, red currants, raspberries, light oak, spices, chocolates, peppercorn, vegetables, herbs, graphite, earth, leather and light barnyard.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity.

Nice length on the finish with spices and raspberries and fine grained tannins.

Needs a couple of hours to open up properly, and show the tannins and structure.

This 6 year old is still young, and would be better in 5 years.

Better with food than just by itself, right now. Tangy and a little hot at the back of the throat. Spicy with a nice mouthfeel.

Regional Collection Clare Valley Riesling 2002

See previous notes dating back to May 2018 and also August 2019. Consistent notes with noticeable Kerosene aromas. Also white flowers. On the palate a soapy texture with delicious flavours of green melon. Diminished acid notes largely resolved. A wonderful mature Clare Valley Riesling holding up and will go on for a few more years. — 7 days ago

Founded in 1776, Reims France, rare family owned company, still managed by Roederer family. In 1833, Louis Roederer inherited company his uncle & renamed company under his namesake. CS Powerline Estate Vineyard Collection Cabernet Sauvignon 2016

11/14/20 - Saturday night and winter is slowly but surely making its way into our lives. After finishing the fall preperation of raking and cleaning the homestead I have made my way into the house to open the 2016 Substance Cs Powerline Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon by Charles Smith.

On the nose there are beautiful expressions of black cherry, blackberry, black plum, black currant, mint, licorice, sage and herbal notes.

On the palate there is black cherry, blackberry, black currant, green bell pepper, black pepper, tobacco, mint, toasted oak and vanilla.

This wine is full bodied with medium + acidity and medium + sandy tannins that move into a long black fruit finish. I hope everyone's weekend is going well and we are enjoying ourselves the best we can. Please stay safe and healthy with a continued wonderful weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
