Mid to light weight, the 2018 Hirsch Bohan-Dillon is elegant with a touch of blood orange that complements the red fruit. Tart and floral. Yet the aspect of this wine that went down best was the cute label with a cat... Very nice. — 4 years ago

This freak show of a wine I have a soft spot for. Pure Tintillia from Molise. The nose is just crazy. Nuts, anise, blackberry syrup and fresh blackberries. So much to the aromas. They are so present. Not wispy. Mean, evil aromas. But you cannot look away. Pasolini liquified. Rich but fresh and has so much energy. Velvety tannins that gain substance with air. Chewy and dense but also somewhat light on its feet. Long finish and very fresh. Really intense. But also elegant. A wine of contrasts. Let’s see what air does.
