Tastes like a library in the 1920s. So good, definitely want to find and drink again. It’s heavy, so great for a cold winter night — 16 days ago
Great taste and flavor profile.... and I'm not a fan of Rose' — 4 months ago
No formal notes, thought it was cru bojo when served blind. Rocking wine - silly at the 10+ € shelf price — a year ago
Very enjoyable. Clean bright red fruit, super light tannins... just enough to make it enjoyable. Peppery hints of strawberry on the front, vanilla oak on the mid, mild green peppercorns on the end. — 19 days ago
I love an aged Loire Chenin Blanc..drinking this a bit on the young side but still very enjoyable!
Deep honey gold in color...overripe pear..honey..tropical fruits..soft minerals and grass! This Chinon is just starting to show the wooly characteristics that I love in an aged Chenin Blanc. Fruit dominates...almost sweet! — 6 months ago
Dec 2019. 100% CF. Touraine/Chinon. 18 months oak.
Garnet. Legs still show faint color. Nose: tertiary flavors., some “crayon” and dry herbs; very little fruit. Touch of Brett? ( not sure) Mouth: M+ acidity; soft tannins, well integrated alcohol-13.5 abv; no bitterness; M body. Even less fruit ; may some alcaçuz; dry herbs. Liked it a lot and goes very well with food! — 3 months ago
