Lovely wine and a real surprise for many drinkers who associate Chinon with red wine. This very slightly off dry chenin blanc is beautifully perfumed with a faint aroma of honey and white flowers. The trick to enjoying this wine is to not serve it ice cold - treat it like a fine white Burgundy and the acidity balances the beautiful fruit and aroma. Lovely wine. Elegant length

Interesting wine and more of a golden color than I see in most chenins. Haven't looked at how it's made but it's got a very creamy texture so I'm guessing there was some lees work. Would be interesting to decant it for a while longer to see if the acid makes itself known a little more.

I really like this. I love the weight and slight viscosity on the finish. It's kind of like a Rousanne/Meursault blend if that makes sense.

Rich, beautiful chenin! All the flavors of honey without the sweetness, plus bitter herbs, nuts and stone fruit. Lean and focused in its texture, too. It’s wines like this that prove what a diverse and wonderful grape chenin is.
