Lovely wine and a real surprise for many drinkers who associate Chinon with red wine. This very slightly off dry chenin blanc is beautifully perfumed with a faint aroma of honey and white flowers. The trick to enjoying this wine is to not serve it ice cold - treat it like a fine white Burgundy and the acidity balances the beautiful fruit and aroma. Lovely wine. Elegant length

Haven't looked at how it's made but it's got a very creamy texture so I'm guessing there was some lees work. Would be interesting to decant it for a while longer to see if the acid makes itself known a little more.
