I have long been a fan of St. George for a long time, and this confirms my high opinion of them. Nose of rye spice with vanilla and bananas foster, and on the taste, honey-sweetened tea with clove and pepper, masala tea spices, oak, and bitter chocolate. Orange emerges immediately on the finish with subsequent honey. — 5 years ago
3 months in bourbon whiskey barrel. Would recommend. Peppery & bright. You can imagine the distilled finish. — 2 months ago

Really smooth and great finish - easy drinking and everyone enjoyed. Good value at the price — 5 years ago
Amazing how well this has held up. 10 years in my cellar and it is so similar to the wine I tasted back then. It definitely leans a bit towards the new world in ripeness and richness but still has plenty of balance and varietal character. Wild cherry, black plum, red licorice, with lots of sweet spice, brown sugar, and a slightly medicinal undercurrent on the long finish. — 6 years ago

My first Joshua Cooper wine - had to check out the Young Winemaker of the year for 2020 awarded by Gourmet Wine Traveller magazine. Joshua has recently turned 32. This wine was quite rich and dense and a little closed aromatically - obviously quite young. Ripe plum, rose petals, with a little vegetal matter. - a big future ahead. Joshua has had wide experience with Australian wineries and in Burgundy with Domaine de la Vougeraie and Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron. This wine from the cool climate Macedon Ranges with high profile neighbours like Bindi and Curly Flat. — 5 years ago
