DRC Night at Secrets Moxché in Cancun. Held up better well. Color is pale garnet, brickish. Notes of old church, library, dried roses, medium body, acidity still vibrant. Long finish. Past its peak, possibly, but extremely intelectual wine. — 13 days ago

A little shy on opening and prominent tannins over 8 hours. Definitely would improve with more cellar time. Overall complex and earthy with bark undergrowth tobacco clove anise balsamic. Lingering finish. — 11 days ago
DRC Night at Secrets Moxché in Cancun. Held up better than most aged burgs I’ve had. Color is pale garnet, brickish. Notes of old church, library, dried red berries, medium body, acidity still vibrant. Long finish. Past its peak, possibly, but extremely intelectual wind. — 13 days ago

It’s not about QPR when you have a chance to drink history. I had other plans for this bottle but I thought about the bottles I’ve sold over the years and never tasted which now I regret.
You can’t take them with you so you might as well enjoy while you can. Very good, bigger than I expected from a Burgundy but its another bucket list bottle — 21 hours ago
DRC Night at Secrets Moxché in Cancun. Opulent elegance. Violets, cherry, forest, mushroom. So round and balanced. — 13 days ago
Wow what a surprising and interesting wine. Done in amarone styling this wine must be very intense on release. At 24 years old it was still punchy but very drinkable. Layers of flavors and aromatics was actually great with the rack of lamb — 2 months ago

Nice lighter style of Nebbiolo from alto Piemonte. Light red florals on the expressive nose. Lighter red herby fruit on the palate. Good acid and medium minus tannins. Good wine with cheeses and various cured meats for an appetizer course. — 6 days ago
