The nose shows classic BdM aromas of dried cherry, rose petal, steeped black tea, tobacco, and a whisper of balsamic. Yet on the palate its tart acidity overwhelmed, and the nimble structure is more inline with CC than a BdM.

Not bad, but I certainly expected much more.

It’s not about QPR when you have a chance to drink history. I had other plans for this bottle but I thought about the bottles I’ve sold over the years and never tasted which now I regret.
You can’t take them with you so you might as well enjoy while you can. Very good, bigger than I expected from a Burgundy but its another bucket list bottle — 2 months ago

Wow, a beautifully aging wine, nose clearly showed age with some tobacco, dried fruits, and a hint of a lizard’s cherry! Wine still has vibrant tannins and dark fruit elegance persists for a nice balance while it developed in the glass. 1993 vintage opened and drank on 25Feb2026!!! Enjoy — 8 days ago

Nice lighter style of Nebbiolo from alto Piemonte. Light red florals on the expressive nose. Lighter red herby fruit on the palate. Good acid and medium minus tannins. Good wine with cheeses and various cured meats for an appetizer course. — 2 months ago
