Waitrose. Excellent, well rounded Rioja. — 3 months ago

Red berry, plum, Oak, tobacco, smoke, leather, balanced tannins, medium acidity — 20 days ago
A bit shy black and purple fruit aromas on this #riberadelduero. Medium plus body on palate; prominent acidity up front on palate, chewier tannins on the finish but with that tartness just so food friendly for ~$13, excellent QPR. #costcowines — 20 days ago
Blend of 85% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, Graciano & Mazuelo, aged for 18 months in French and American oak (previously 24 months), deep Ruby color with aromas of complex fruit, spice, oak and forest floor. On the palate flavors of dark berries, licorice and cacao with toasty oak and herbs. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, oak and earthy notes. Drinking well now!! — 2 months ago

2019 vintage. Pop N Pour (PNP). Immediate access and goods available. Smoky, saline, sultry nose. Medium body. Plenty of oak but held in check by current tannins/acidity + fruit balance. Could initially be mistaken as a red Bordeaux from right bank St. Émmie. Keeps piling on the cherry pastille angle and, initially, the wine drinks (not in a bad way) a tad stratified with layers of this, then layers of that. Time in the glass finds that dissipating. Graphite. Ripe dark plum. Blackberries. Dark cherries. Each of these figure prominently during. Elements of grace hovering in the meanwhile with a rich, carob, plummy flourish at palate’s end. Biodynamic and certified organic. Gotta go pick up a few more bottles. 01.01.25. — 12 hours ago
