Quite pale in color after 21 years. Very port wine like. Was too busy for detailed notes. Winner of the evening. — 5 months ago
Dark fruit for days but focused and weightless. Still a baby compared to the ‘18. The last glass 9 hours after opening was the best. — 2 months ago
Ripe red fruit, dark cherry, medium bodied with a fairly bright acidity. Plenty of leather, some oak, and hints of a funky earthiness. Would go well with a ripe blue cheese. Lively pairing with a ribeye and sweet potatoes. Would do well aging for a few more years to mellow the acidity. — 5 months ago
Sipping Fine Wine
Medium Ruby with aromas of black and red fruits with cedar, floral and spice notes. On the palate flavors of cherry, blackberry and cedar with smoke and tobacco notes. Generous acidity on fine soft tannins with a long finish ending with fruit and spice. Drinking well now! — a month ago
