An utterly delicious wine.

Blackberries. Licorice. Spice. Great balance.

I had this with sausage and peppers and was not disposed towards a lengthy review given the tastiness of the dish. Having said that, this has some lovely grip. Lilacs appear on the nose. Faint hints of vanilla. I treated this as an unserious wine. But it isn’t.

Got this wine as a Christmas gift. It’s really lovely and unique. Nose = slate, chalk, terra cotta and ocean air. Body = medium. Some good acidity but not overbearing. Main flavors = cranberry and under ripened pineapple. Some sweetness mid palate with a pleasant dry finish. — 8 months ago
