Silice Pinot Noir 2016

Family-owned and operated started in 1999 by Dr John and Karen Bergstrom. Dark Ruby with fresh ripe berry fruit flavors with floral spice notes. On the palate, cherry and raspberry flavors with complex herb and citrus notes. Fine tannins on long finish ending with slight earthy character. Drink now while it’s fresh, will benefit from short-term aging. Had this several times in the past year, just keeps on getting better. A Fav!! — 16 days ago

A lovely club-only Pinot. This one picks quite the punch! Super dark in color, this one got sucked down tonight. — 3 days ago

Nicholas Estate Vineyard Riesling 2013

Mineral, great acid, white peach, apple, quince, and a little petrol to round things out. Dare I say a touch of Pencil shavings and fleshy green plums? Wicked good! — 12 days ago

Compared to the 2014 which needs at least 5 years to start to reach its potential, the 2013 is mature now. Not that that’s a problem. Starts out curiously aged yet tight but fills out with aeration, taking on a rich, silky suppleness with length and complexity. If you have any 2013, enjoy now. — 17 days ago

Twelve Oaks Estate Pinot Noir 2014

A deep ruby in the glass with a decadent nose full of cassis & cocoa. The pallate brings forward tart pomegranate, hibiscus, with nutmeg & milk chocolate undertones throughout the finish. Not at all what I was expecting from this Pinot, but quite lovely in it's own right. Paired outstanding with an anniversary dinner of pheasant & striped bass! ($45) [11/12/20] — 17 days ago
