Sattes Gelb mit bronzenen Tönen. Feinperlig.
Gelber Apfel, Birne, Nelke, Quitte, rote Beeren.
Vollmundig, gut strukturiert. Frisch, trotz der Fülle an Aromen.
Abgang ewig. Nelke, Pilz. — 3 days ago
We now resume our regular programming. Maybe the 2016 needed a little more time but it just had too much pepper to it. 2017 is your classic Charles smith Rhone style. Bold fruit, long spicy finish. This is the only wine I buy by the case besides last year... time to place an order — 10 days ago
Love this wine! Not too sweet. — 11 days ago
A museum release from the winery - I bought this at a Shaw and Smith tasting in Brisbane a few years ago. An asparagus note initially which blew off. Asian spices, raspberry, earthy mineral notes on nose, carrying through to the medium to full bodied palate. A nice balance between cool climate and warm climate characteristics. Finishes with a little astringency. — 25 days ago
This is the best Syrah I have had in a long time. Surprisingly, the color is on the lighter side like a northern Rhône and has a subtle nose. Cherries, blackberries, leather, charcoal, earth, and smoke combine into an incredible taste profile with no tannins whatsoever. Only needed about 15 minutes of air to reach this level of flavor. Wish I had more than one bottle remaining. — 13 days ago
Another amazing vintage! Rich boysenberry on the nose and palate with an intricate finish. — 3 days ago
