2019 vintage. A little less body but more spice than the regular offering. No less delicious tho. Worth seeking out. — 3 years ago

Saint-Joseph Syrah 2020

Delectable Wine
9.1

Crafted from fully destemmed grapes, the elegant and polished 2020 Saint-Joseph totally delivers. Violets, black cherry, raspberry and discrete cedar usher in. Ripe tannins structure this medium-bodied and concentrated Saint-Joseph that maintains its elegant profile right through to the refined finale. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, March 2024)

Vieux Château Saint André

Montagne-St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

This is the wine of Jean-Claude Berrouet own estate. He’s former winemaker and Technical Director of Petrus and made 44 vintages of Petrus. Black currants, plum, earth, bay leaf, cedar wood, orange peel and a mineral finish. Fantastic value. — a month ago

Feminessence Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend 2017

2017 vintage. Last tasted 11.16.23 (9.5). Pepper, anise/black licorice, Chambord in the nose. Add in tobacco, sea salt and the tiniest hint of ginger (along with the aforementioned nose impressions) once tasted. Medium-heavy body. Smooth and harmonious. Yes, still plenty of tannins on the journey and categorizing this as a “food wine.” For those that cultivate/love tannins, this is currently a warm bath. 5.5.24. — 7 months ago
