Château Pontet Laroche

Château Pontet-Canet

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2006

Another fine bottle from this great estate, a nose to die for. This is an impeccable bottle of wine firing on all cilinders. I can’t get enough of this wine, felt in love with it on a wine trip with Big J and ever since I buy this wine without blinking my eyes. — 20 days ago

@Willem Booij can only agree with you Willem. Have the same and luckily by now quite some vintages available. Cheers!

Les Bouguerots Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay 2018

Incredibly smooth and well structured! It was the only bottle they had at the store. If any one knows where to find more in Mexico City, please let me know! — 2 years ago

Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay 2015

3rd and final bottle - previous two were incredible over the last 3-4 years but it’s now starting to show signs of oxidation and in a state of decline. Still great but drink now. — 23 days ago

Les Vaillons Vieilles Vignes Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay 2019

Delectable Wine
9.1

The 2019 Chablis Les Vaillons Vieilles Vignes 1er Cru has a lovely, charming bouquet with orange pith, tinned peach and light apricot scents that probably make it sound more tropical than it actually is. The palate is well-balanced with a waxy-textured opening. Certainly, this represents one of the more concentrated wines of the flight, grippy and pithy, maybe just missing a little tension and race toward the finish? Otherwise, this should age well in bottle. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, December 2023)
