Holy moly! I think this could be a top 20 of all time for only about $50. I have a few more bottles and I will treasure them. Incredible! This bottle made me sad because I knew while I was drinking it, but the moments would end. Bold mouth feel with soft tannins and yet it’s only five years old. Holy moly. This is a juice fest. An organic, unfiltered juice fest. Had my first sip at room temp, then @Emily Wilson suggested it be chilled, and OH MAN. Once it’s cool, this bad boy really delivers. Hints of raspberry, strawberry, and red currant. Awesome minerality. Holy moly. This is some wine. What a value! Insane, deep nose of dark cherry fruit that is so vivid and so clear. Wow. Tree bark, dusty earth, and just insane clarity here. The palate has incredible sweet fruit. So sappy and elegant! Yes this year this has elegance. Nimble and so red Riesling. What inner mouth aromas. Complex, concentrated and so pure. As this airs it’s like a blackberry jam/perfume with black cherries. What an insane wine! $24.99 is just a joke. Amazing grip and palate presence and what energy. Just sick. 9.49. Almost a 9.5!

Holy moly, Northern Rhone aromatics dialed up to 11, maybe 12. Violets, olives, bacon and blueberry. A lot of stuffing on the palate, but it'll be a while before it matches the nose. But when it gets there (and it will), watch out. Beautiful wine now, stunner in its potential. — 10 years ago
