This is not hitting. It seems a bit unbalanced and acidic and medium finish. Definitely not worth the price. #beaune #premiercru #dominquelafon #lafon — 7 months ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The 2018 “Désirée” (which gets to hold this designation due to historical precedence) pours a straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of bright tropical fruit, lemon, slivered almond, warm spices and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ with a lovely texture. Textbook Meursault and more importantly, tasty stuff. Drink now through 2033. — 4 months ago
My favorite Macon Chard. This wine drinks so much higher than its cost. Green apple, lemon curd, used oak, acidic, full bodied. Excellent with cheese, cream sauce. Love to pair it with an Alfredo Chicken pizza. — 7 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of several hours. The 2021 pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of tropical fruit, lemon drop, freshly struck match, Spring white tree flowers, and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+, textured and saline. I thought this benefitted from a lot of air as my last glass was my favorite but this was pretty awesome from the PnP. Drink now with a little patience and through 2036. — a month ago

vintage 2020 | Totally in balance, a cedarwood charmer, laurel. Roundness. Had the swallow factor when I tasted it. — 17 days ago
