Lovely wine, but I am thinking it needs more time. Raspberries and cranberries with baking spices on the nose, with currants, cranberries, and a hint of orange pith initially showing on the palate. Finishes with savory notes of roast beef, smoked mushrooms, and dry summer forest floor.

Intense and fruit driven but not too over the top. However, the oak is a bit heavy handed for my taste

Proving again that one should buy this guy's reds, too. A beauty to be revisited in about 5 years.
