Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim.

Fruity nose of black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, licorice, eucalyptus, chocolates, spices, vegetables, coffee, herbs and black pepper.

Full bodied and rich with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, cedar, spices, toast, coffee, light vanilla, dark chocolates, peppercorn, earth and black tea.

Long finish with round tannins and tangy cherries.

This gorgeous 21 year old red blend from Saint Julien is drinking beautifully now. Powerful and fruit forward. Nicely balanced and elegant.

Peaking now, and still feels very fresh, with a lot of power to take it even longer. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 10 years.

This Third Growth Bordeaux is showing great complexity with a great mouthfeel. Spicy and entertaining. A great vintage in Bordeaux, and it is definitely showing.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, or with food like a big piece of steak.

A blend of 46% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot and 9% Petit Verdot. Aged in (60% new) French Oak barrels for 21 months.

2023 vintage. Cabernet Sauvignon (61%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Franc (5,5%), and Petit Verdot (3,5%). Very seductive nose with cassis, blackberries, and a panoply of flowers, intertwined with the most delicate touch of oak. This is the second wine produced in the new stunning cellar, and the purity of the fruit is exemplary. While it doesn't lack power, it is also amazingly delicate. It may not have the weight on the mid palate of the 2022, but the finish is particularly impressive. The length is incredible. This can be enjoyed already, but it will age gracefully. Moreover, it is a bargain for the quality. Abv. 13%. — 8 hours ago

Nose of blueberries, black plums, cooked cherries, oak, licorice, earth, tobacco leaf, herbs, peppercorn and mediterranean spices.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with black currants, black plums, blackberries, light cedar, earth, herbs, dark chocolates, tobacco leaf, light forest floor and black pepper.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This 21 year old 4th growth Bordeaux is drinking beautifully now. Still showing enough fruits to balance the earth notes. Rich, elegant and very complex and engaging.

This iconic 2005 vintage is drinking very nicely now, and drinking at its peak. Will continue to drink nicely in the next 10 years. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel.

I had this vintage 2 years ago, and it is drinking much better now, and very approachable right out of the bottle.
