Vintage 2003 / I like this low yield wine from Cot because it has a rich smell combining shy red fruit and earthyness. Not an easy middle of the road wine, it needs cellaring to fully give its expressions and even now after 16 years it has much future left. A certain stubborness, better call it character. Much to discover. Paired with one of my favorite dishes: meatballs from lamb and fresh capucins with a mild mustard fond/sauce. — 7 years ago

Smells of stone fruit with a soft hint of citrus. Taste of melon, mixed with a bit of sourness of lemons. Really a great combo of stone fruit + like get sourness. Crisp acid to make it an excellent pairing with food. Just a delightful wine to drink. — 8 years ago

The 2017 'Cuvée Theo' from Domaine Weinbach was aged for ten months in oak prior to bottling and was sourced from the Clos des Capucins vineyard, which is set on sandy silt soil with fractured granite. The wine shows moderate sweetness with ripe candied ginger, sweet peach, mango and apricot tones, with a racy minerality.
