This has to open up. In the glass of in a decanter and then it’s fantastic. Complex and aromatic. I’d drink it all day. — 7 months ago
Dark rubi robe, nose of spices, tobacco and black fruits with hints of dark cherries. In the mouth its rich but not exaggerated, medium bodied, elegant tanins, well balanced with great freshness. Ends on a sappy and spicy note and one wants more. Really excellent wine that deserves the reputation. Recommended ! — 4 years ago
What to do when the amount of Coronavirus cases keeps increasing in California. Start the night off with a glass of one of our favorite N/V Rosé Champanges.
All my numerous notes still apply!
Stay infection free folks! Cheers! 🍾🥂

A gentle behemoth. Brooding blackberries, blueberries, gravel, black pepper with a savory finish. Well integrated tannins. Naturally, you'll want to give this some air. — 7 years ago
Erin DeByl brought this to us. Easy to drink, flavorful red, no bad aftertaste or strong acidic taste. Stays in mouth well. — 8 years ago

McCarthy & Schiering, $11
Bursting with tropical flavors, lots of pineapple and guava, almost reminds me of POG juice. Balanced with a crisp acidity and very easy to drink. Amazing for the price, I immediately went back and grabbed 2 more bottles — 3 years ago
Rich cherry and black currant nose. Color is purple with a watery thin edge. In the mouth it is not as sweet as the nose is. There is a rather fresh acidity bringing balance. It will be accompanied by the veal cheeks and mash. Looking forward to that.
As the bottle was opened anyhow to use a glass in the stew we already started tasting 😉. — 6 years ago

Very unique wine. Similar characteristics to Nebbiolo. Beautiful color from the age reflecting a very earthy earthy full-bodied wine. The initial nose also has tar, wet soil and cassis. Needs half a day (at least) to open up. The flavor has cherry, raspberry, tobacco and beef-like flavor. Great smoky finish. Very different for me — 8 years ago
This is definitely a top surprise. "Amateur" but with a huge potential in bottle. Acidity of the 2011 harvest in 2017 is still alive and promising the release of some exaggerated alcoholic syndromes. Very good for fat red meat. — 9 years ago
