This is such an utterly brilliant wine. Just beyond. Nose is the most vivid olives and gorgeous blackberry fruit and granite infused love. 9.8 nose. Utterly captivating. Palate is rich and ripe but teeming with granitic energy. Unreal inner mouth olive aromas, and just insanely juicy and painfully concentrated. Unreal length and I only showing 10% of itself and we are at 9.8. I will be back. Wow. Unreal finesse now and length. There is a dark evil to this wine that adds to the overall vibe. Outrageous florals now an hour in. Really meaty element now as well. So supple and silky but firm structure, minerals and granite on the finish. Tannins getting more imposing but ripe and sweet. — 5 months ago
Earthy, terroir nose. Opened nicely. Palette- enjoyable , long finish, medium tannins . After one hour, improved, earthiness is a nice change from Napa cabs. — 3 years ago
Time to drink up, still very nice, shared with Fung — 2 months ago
Most like the 2006, rounded texture due to age and ripened fruits with an edge of oxidation on the good side — 4 months ago
Vibrant gold/yellow color. Awesome nose filled with melons, minerality, cream, and a hint of cigarettes. Complex, unique wine. A little funk mid-palate that has some bite. Medium plus depth and medium finish. Resembles the ‘15 vintage I had. If you can find a better or more unique white for under $20 I’d like to try it. This rocks!! — 8 months ago
Very nice, not too high in tannin — 2 months ago
Tough Hermitage competition last night and it ranked slightly behind top producers JL Chave and Jaboulet (La Chapelle). Not quite as long and explosive, but who’s to complain — a year ago

Blackcurrant and leather notes. Very savoury on the palate - a little disappointing to be honest. See previous Delectable note. I haven’t had a lot of experience with Cornas and was looking forward to this because of its stellar reputation. I have a reasonable collection of Clape Cornas in my cellar which are not ready to drink yet. To be honest this was a bit underwhelming compared to many stellar Shiraz we are lucky enough to have in Australia. Hopefully the Clape, the Rostaing and the Jamet with time in my cellar will be impressive. — 2 days ago
