2020 vintage.
Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc from Maremma.
12 months in oak and 6 months bottle aging before release.
Deep ruby red.
Black cherries, wild berries and dried herbs on the nose.
Medium bodied with finely knit tannins.
Dark plums, milk chocolate…(thanks Merlot) and leather.
Smooth finish. This wine loves food and is ridiculously inexpensive.

Well balanced, deep rich fruit notes. Good mouthfeel, solid wine for the price. Will see how it evolves. — 3 months ago
The 2016 Brunello di Montalcino Rennina is captivating as balsam herbs, wilted violets, and stone dust smolder up, slowly giving way to a core of crushed blackberry. This is pure class, silky and elegant yet racy. Brisk acidity and masses of mineral-tinged dark red fruits saturate the palate, which is lifted by a orange hint toward the close as salty minerals penetrate. Like liquid stone, the 2016 remains youthfully structured, with a wall of fine tannins that grips the senses and a coating of primary concentration that promises balance for a long life. This is an absolutely stunning vintage for Rennina. (Eric Guido, Vinous, December 2023)

The wine is full bodied wine, on nose its big strawberries, vanilla notes, leather and oak. On palate, acidity is medium+, chewy, creamy, firm structure, long finish, big fruits of course. This is a beautiful wine, considering 2018 is not an easy year for montalcino. Decant time is 1 hour, enjoy it now or keep it for 2-3 years. Cheers!! 🍷 — 17 days ago

Superb, opened 5 750s. Saw big bottle variation, 3 spectacular, 1 off and one really off bottle. Some cork seepage on the lesser btls. Shame…this was worth cellaring, the best on par with the finest super Ts anywhere and aging with light sour cherry, sweet tobacco and old leather notes that were so nice. — 6 days ago
