Lato Scuro Mitterberg Rosso Regent 2013

Very interesting work on Piwis by GraWu. A light open pleasant red wine, on the fruit, balanced and with slight tartness. Very enjoyable. To date one of my best wines made from PiWis grape varieties. — 3 months ago

Pfefferer Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Moscato Giallo 2017

Nose has intense honeysuckle perfume, citrus floral notes, white pepper, dried lemon/lime pith and dry, ocean beach sand.

Palate has dehydrated grapefruit, under-ripe pear, orange peel, peach skin with a medium dry finish, nicely refreshing on a warm evening.

Our first time with the Pfefferer (Moscato Giallo) grape. Quite reminiscent of a great Gewürztraminer, from the New York Finger Lakes of course!

Riserva Hausmannhof Südtirol - Alto Adige Metodo Classico Brut Champagne Blend 2006

10 years on the lees! Rich, full, and just a touch honeyed with loads of hazelnut and a beautiful bead of a bubble. Don’t know the grape breakdown but this is an incredible sparkler. And from Südtirol!!! €40 from Enovit in Bolzano. — 2 years ago

Masetto Bianco Vigneti delle Dolomitti 2017

Nice hey color. The nose is herbs, grass and friuts. The taste is apple and white cherry. Aftertaste: fresh, short but delightfully. Good wine. — 8 months ago

Huck Am Bach St. Magdalener Alto Adige Schiava Lagrein 2018

Light smoke. Red and black fruit. High acidity and brightness. Delightful. A story buyers notes: Santa Maddalena Classico is its own DOC in the heart of Bolzano. By law the wine must be 90% Schiava (aka Trollinger) and 10% Lagrein. This combination works to add a touch of richness and body to the normally bright and aromatic schiava. The vineyard is a large slope scaling from 250 meters to 500 meters, with the Lagrein grown on the lower portion of the hill. These are old vines averaging between 40-50 years old. Masetto Nero Vigneti delle Dolomiti IGT Teroldego

Vintage 2016. The color is bright and ruby. The nose is red fruit and minerals. The mouth keeps the same sensation the confy increases, but well-rounded. The aftre taste is short, which is a pity. — 10 months ago
