Cal cab tasting. Deep dark purple with some bricking in the rims. Notes of dark red fruit, currant, cocoa and mocha, some roses. Thin in the mouth, even with decanter time. Great nose but the structure and mouthfeel is a bit lacking. — 4 years ago

Red fruit, red berries, wooded brush, forest breath, cherries, cassis.

Pricing Sideways wrong (I mean it’s a blend, but still majority Merlot).

Jolly ranchers, blackberry compote, nice puckering acidity balanced with fruit forward tannins. Punchy.

Quaffable.
