Tasty, eat with fish or charcuterie! — 4 years ago
Stunning bouquet. Paired beautifully with the crab legs with jalapeño butter and grilled corn. One of the best values in bubbly I’ve had. $35-$40 @ Houston Wine Merchant. — 8 years ago
Enjoying this lovely gift from the winemakers at Ca'Del Grevino. Thank you Nadia :) — 13 years ago
Clean, pure and incredibly moreish, this was everything you want from Barbaresco - especially at this ££ price point. Other first night with no decant saw some Brett and dominant oak, but the second night it was gorgeous, floral, firm, balanced, beautiful. Big W. — 3 years ago
The 2017 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Ca'del Laito impresses with its lift and grace, as autumnal spiced cherry-berry fruits are complemented by hints of sweet oak. Ripe red/black berries coast along a core of acids. Hints of dark chocolate and clove come forward toward the close. $25.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, March 2022) — 4 years ago

Needs air at this young age but quickly hits its stride. Really fragrant, with zesty, ripe berries, spice, a yeasty, fresh bread note, and mineral-flecked turned gravel. Loads of upfront fruit, but in a dry package with zingy acids. Slight bitter note complements the fruit. So pure tasting and food flexible. Textbook. — 3 years ago
The 2016 Valpolicella Classico Superiore Ripasso Ca'del Laito boasts a seductive and perfumed bouquet, with notes of brown spice and tobacco blossoming further to show raspberry coulis and a lifting hint of fresh mint. This is quite savory, with silky textures ushering in cool-toned red and black berries and inner herbal tones. Sweet tannins come forward through the long finale, balanced by a concentration of primary fruits, promising years of positive evolution in the cellar. The Ca'del Laito is matured in a combination of 50% third-pass tonneaux and 50% large, 25-hectoliter barrels for 23 months. There’s beautiful symmetry in this gorgeous Ripasso, but don’t expect it to perform like a baby Amarone. (Eric Guido, Vinous, February 2021)

Not familiar with this wine but very good! Not very mouthy but leaves a dry oak finish. Cork was absolutely oaky and devine smelling — 7 years ago
Dare I say, this has totally convinced me that Franciacorta is as good as the French stuff. Ca'del Bosco's flagship. A little more Pinot Noir than their NV cuvee (20%, 55% Chard, 25% Pinit Bianco). Made only in the finest years.
10 years, but still so fresh. Spent 8 years on lees. Perhaps a little new wine in the dosage to give that extra lift? Full bodied, fine fine bubbles, pear, peach, dried apricots, bready. Persistent finish. So good! — 10 years ago
Terrific wine by Bonny Doon. We haven't had a Ca'Del Solo wine in a long time. Worth the wait. — 13 years ago

Exceptional quality!! Blend is primarily Garganega that is rounded out with small amounts of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Trebbiano. Pale straw color. Plentiful aromas of tropical fruit, white flowers, wet slate and a light touch of smoke. Flavors of peach, cantaloupe, lemon zest and raw nuts. Beautiful volcanic mineral/saline thread on the long lasting and crisp finish. Medium bodied with a slightly waxy/mouth coating texture. Rich and savory. So hard to put down. Thanking Petey and Kase for selecting this beautiful Father’s Day wine. — 11 days ago
