This was an already opened bottle that belonged to my father-in-law who passed away one week ago from today. I may be a bit generous on my rating given the situation. — 7 years ago
It's the OJ Simpson of sparkling wine. It's not sweet and it makes me want to drive a white bronco at a slow speed. — 8 years ago
2012 vintage. Nearly perfect fill and cork. Decanted with infinitesimal sed. Aggro rhubarb and cranberry nose. Tasted 30 mins, 1 hour and 3 hours post-decant. Medium body. Excellent focus/concentration. The rhubarb and cranberry still chilling along with a modicum of lemongrass (?!?!) and dark cherry. Lengthy finish redolent of artificial strawberry/strawberry Jolly Rancher candy. Bit of a bucking bronco versus finesse and souplesse. 08.01.25. — 4 months ago
Give it a shot, this is how a good Pinot Must taste. — 8 years ago
A Bronco Wine wine. Hmm, That’s the Two Buck Chuck company. This is Livermore Valley AVA though. Worth the $4 flyer at Grocery Outlet. Dark ruby maroon color. Smells dense and kinda complex. Hint of fresh herbs and smoke of dried herbs with the fruity stuff. Flavors are complex. Cherries in a woodsy bourbon barrel thing. Also chalk. (Good way chalk). Meaty streak. This would go well with a rare steak from the coals. Reminds me of nice St. Èmilion or Meritage type blends from Sonoma. This is a great deal for the regular price and one of those WTF deals for $4 at G.O. Just good to great Merlot. — 5 years ago
