The oak really stands out in this one. On one hand I think 'Too much what are you trying to hide or make up for?' and on the other hand I think 'This was daring but it worked!'.
Let me put it another way: It's too much oak for me to enjoy the bottle but it's a wood punch that makes me enjoy the glass over many other Pinot's I've had recently.

Absolutely delightful with well-balanced tannins. — 6 months ago
v18. Very nice, consistently good. Dusty, white pepper and smoke nose. Juicy, black cherry fruit. Slightly astringent, earthy finish. Enjoyable. — a month ago
Had with our Uruguayan asado feast. Paired excellently with woodfired meats and vegetables. Wine stands up on its own too if you like jam forward oaky red wines. Aroma is barrel oak, vanilla, spice and dark fruit pie. Taste is a jammy blast of rich dark fruit, assertive tannin, and a lingering balance between the two to finish. Highly recommend this wine and would try more tannat wines! — 2 months ago

I love Tannat and this is no exception. I feel like this is underrated probably because of its origins. Definitely try this if you can find it! Also, priced under 20€ — a month ago
