Medium garnet , quite wide garnet rim . Quite floral at first with violet and iris, then touches of sweet red fruits , fresh herbal touches as well. On the palate more sweet red fruits, red plum , black cherry , with those fresh cut herbal and floral touches, violet in particular. Quite distinctive earthy notes also . Good refreshing acidity and slightly gritty tannins that are drier than expected with touch of bitterness , which distracts slightly from the harmony in the rest of the wine. This is probably in the middle of its drinking window and will hold over the next 6-9 years . — a month ago
Juicy - one of my faves — 4 years ago
100% Treixadura, which I'm pretty sure I've never heard of before today. Fruit forward aromas that come through on the palate... ripe cantaloupe, peach, and a touch of honey... along with some nonfruit/mineral notes almost verging on the petrol of a Riesling. A lush body from the ripe fruits balanced by lemony acidity to keep it light and refreshing. "springtime and sunshine in a bottle" -MM #rootscase — 6 months ago

Gosh, this producer sure knows how to pull on my heartstrings. The palate was very light, watery thin even, but the perfume it exuded was just incredible. Fresh roses, violets, cherries, orange zest, smoky incense, and some herbs. Boah, I could just keep swirling and smelling this wine. — 18 days ago
