Ripe and juicy with rich flavor and tannins to keep it grounded. Wonderful notes of blackberry and oak. Too ripe on the nose in my opinion. — 3 months ago
One of my favorites. Great blend of cab sauv, cab franc, Merlot, petite Verdot, & Malbec. Ages well. — 3 months ago

Still packing a high octane, harmonious punch after 12yrs. — 2 months ago
Deep dark stewed berry, dark chocolate, licorice, tiny hint of anise on the finish. Speaking of the finish - it lasts forever. This is a big wine - it needs to sit in the glass for at least four hours before touching it. It will probably be better on day 2. — 3 months ago
10% rose, strawberry taste, very good for price — 3 months ago

On the nose, this is blackberry, red cherries, red currant... Cocoa powder? On the palate, the blackberry and current is still there, but certainly some herbal notes as well... Green pepper... Dried sage... Medium body and tannins are quite pronounced at this stage... Another couple of years may have been preferred to soften a bit though this may be at the expense of the great currant up front... I feel there's some smokiness in the texture that I like here... The finish is long and makes me think of tree bark... A nice pairing for us tonight with flank steak. — a day ago
